Big Shark Shout Out at DIVE 2011

Oct. 13/11

Project AWARE will once again be attending DIVE 2011 at the Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in the UK, which is taking place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October 2011.

DIVE 2011 offers a great opportunity for divers in the UK to rally with shark enthusiasts from around the world who are shouting out for sharks this October

Visitors to this year's NEC Birmingham Dive Show will find more than 300 exhibitors taking part but Project AWARE will most likely be the loudest. Why? We will be shouting our lungs out for sharks!

Shout Out For Sharks with Project AWARE at DIVE 2011

Come and see us in the PADI Village (Stand PV20) to take part in our Big Shark Shout Out dive show event and celebrate European Shark Week with us. Amongst many activities you will be able to:

Voice your support for two vital shark petition efforts

Contribute to our Big Shark Shout Out Wall

Attend two shark seminars

Enter a Prize Draw

Additional fun activities include Shark Tattoo and a chance to race our flying shark air swimmer. It may sound like a lot of fun but we are doing all of these activities in support of critical shark conservation issues including the campaign to strengthen the current EU finning ban.

"DIVE 2011 offers a great opportunity for divers in the UK to rally with shark enthusiasts from around the world who are shouting out for sharks this October" says Jennifer Constant, Project AWARE Regional Coordinator.

Project AWARE volunteers will also be selling tempting treats for everyone, including shark necklaces, trendy Fourth Element AWARE t-shirts and more...
