DIVE ARMY spent the week of 13 September- 21 September 2014 in Freeport, Grand Bahamas.

This week there were 8 certifications in AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, 8 AWARE Shark Conservation, 8 AWARE Sea Turtle Awareness, 3 AWARE Invasive Lionfish Tracker, 2 AWARE Dive Against Debris.

DIVE ARMY also hosted a DIVE against Debris collecting over 25 pounds of debris from the oceans.

 

Ocean Encounters and a team of 16 volunteer divers remove over 96kg of debris off the Lions Dive House Reef near Bapor Kibra, Curacao!  This event was part of an Island Wide Curacao Clean Up Day... where over 200,000 people participated!!

We had a great morning this morning with the Dive gainst Debris Dive at Harbour Village Marina and the dive site something special.

 

We had a team of 20 people diving and surface support helping bring the trash to the skip we had delivered from our local garbage collectors Selebon.
