Like us, you are probably worried about the financial future and the livelihoods of those around you. In the first global study of its kind analysing data obtained from Project AWARE’s Dive Against Debris® seafloor survey and Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup of beach and nearshore debris, this study, conducted by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), shows a general mismatch between what is located on shorelines and what remains on the seafloor.
