Join us as we participate in International Coastal Clean-up Day lending clean-up assistance both topside and underwater at one of our local Pacific Northwest dive sites. This year, we are returning to Newport, Oregon to co-host a clean-up with South Beach Scuba, Newport's local dive shop! Afterward, we will be co-hosting a diver appreciation BBQ at the South Beach Scuba dive shop! We welcome all interested divers!

Wednesday, September 14th (7-9pm) ($35)
We also encourage you all to also participate in our Project AWARE program where we will learn about some of the most pressing problems facing these vulnerable environments and everyday actions you can take to help conserve them. The Project AWARE Specialty course is informative, interesting and most importantly, you will learn how to make a difference.

Special course price for this event is only $35 with all course proceeds supporting the Project AWARE Foundation, a nonprofit organization! There is no age limit for this specialty. This specialty is also open to nondivers and divers. Click here: to download the student manual AWARE - Our World, Our Water for free courtesy of the Project AWARE Foundation thanks to the proceeds from programs such as this one. Divers can also look forward to counting the specialty toward their Master Scuba Diver rating!

Friday, September 16th (6-8pm) ($35)
Headed to the coast earlier? Then stop by South Beach Scuba and catch a Project AWARE presentation, as listed above, with Nicolle and Pete Kalnins of South Beach Scuba, Newport's local PADI Dive center! $35 includes your Project AWARE certification with all course proceeds supporting the Project AWARE Foundation, a nonprofit organization!
