We survived Super Storm Sandy almost a year ago.  It has been a year of recovery, action and progress by thousands of volunteers with Restore Our Shore, Waves of Action and Clean Ocean Action.

Rutgers Scuba is continuing the effort with a Project Aware Dive Against Debris and Clean Ocean Action Fall Beach Sweep to help clean marine debris from a favorite dive site and Belmar beach. Join us on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Maclearie Park and the 16th Ave Beach in Belmar, NJ to help clean our our waters and beach.  Transportation from Rutgers is available.

Dive gear available for certified divers joining the underwater clean up at Maclearie Park.  Underwater marine debris data will be reported for Project Aware Dive Against Debris.  Beach debris data will be reported for Clean Ocean Action Fall Beach Sweep.

Let's join together to make a difference! Bring a friend, divers and non-divers. Please join us on October 19th, 2013!  If you would like to attend the dive, the sweep or both please RSVP/register in advance to Debby Miller 908-217-7614 or .
