Divetech receives more recognition for green practices

We have just been featured in an article that talks about the various recognition we have received for our green practices.

We pride our ourselves in the efforts we take to protect the environment and are always looking for new ways to improve our activities.

“We could do a lot more on the recycling, for example, in the UK they have various different bins even for composting. People should be aware that there are recycling bins at Camana Bay but how many people separate their rubbish at home? There needs to be more education on that."

That's why receiving PADI's Green Star Award is great, it's important to be recognized, showcasing our efforts and spreading a conservation message to our customers. That's part of the reason why we participate in the 100% AWARE program, giving us an opportunity to discuss the importance of marine conservation to each diver when they become certified. We feel good about creating eco conscious divers so they too can spread awareness for ocean protection.
