Sunshine Divemaster Trainees conduct the Eco Workshop on Clean Up dive at Lighthouse

The PADI Project Aware - Dive Against Debri - was conducted by the Sunshine Divemaster Trainees on the 25th of August, 2012 on Lighthouse Bay, Koh Tao.

They collect an estimated weight of 6 kg. There were several tyres, ropes, large netting obviously deployed fishing boats and some of these items were too heavy to remove so they are still in place (awaiting our return with lifting devices); Yet the most interesting of items was an expensive pair of Spectacles.

Our Clean up dives are in affiliation with the Save Koh Tao Foundation on Koh Tao, so stay tuned for our monthly Clean-ups and updates, happening on every last Saturday of each month.
