My Summary

Since I was a kid I have been enthralled with the ocean and everything in it.  I started snorkeling when I was 7 or 8 in 1950 and as a young teen was fortunate to go snorkeling at Wake Island and Subic Bay in the Phillippines and in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In 1962 I was certified as a SCUBA diver in Washington, D.C. and in 1995 I bacame a PADI Divemaster.  I have been so very fortunate to dive in Palau an d other Pacific locations and throughout the Caribbean, the Puget Sound and in Florida as well as many lakes and rivers.

Our oceans are a great treasure that must be protected and sharks, having lived since prehistoric times, need our protection as well.  They hold the key to our future and they help to balance life in the oceans as well.  We must educate people as to their value and put an end to practices that decimate their population.
