I have been diving since 1977.
I am a PADI Master Instructor. I am currently teaching with Sharky`s Scuba Supply in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
When I dive, I always pick-up debris, be it, in the ocean, lakes, rivers, quarries ...
I have done marine biological research in the Seychelles. In addition I taught Marine ecology at the International School in the Seychelles. I also taught the orphans at the President vilage school how to swim, as drowning is the biggest cause of deaf for children in the Seychelles.
I have participated in many clean-ups, including the first quarter of 2013 clean-up in Bonaire where I recruted 3 Canadians (Ginette, Debby and Martin) to take time from their vacation to lend a hand.
I have been to Bonaire for the last 6 years. Each year I have participated in tracking and helping reduce the number of the invasive lion fish.
On earth day of 2011, I organized the clean-up of the Morrison quarry in Wakefield, Quebec, Canada.
