My Summary

I caught the diving bug while on my honeymoon in the Florida Keys after being beaten up by waves on a snorkeling trip and watching the scuba divers below glide smoothly underneath experiencing the marine life up close.  I received her Open Water certification in the summer of 1995 in Colorado in 50 degree water and 1 foot visibility in the Aurora Reservoir.  It was awesome!  My Advanced certification was a much warmer experience in the Florida Keys.  Ever since I completed my Advanced certification I knew I wanted to obtain at least my Rescue Diver Certification.  However, Sugar Land Dive Center had bigger plans for me and with their encouragement and my husbands’, I took to the road to become a Dive Instructor.  My dive career has been diverse.  I have been shore and boat diving in the cold waters off the beautiful California coast to the crystal clear warm waters of the Caribbean.  I am also a registered nurse with over 20 years of health care experience most of them emergency room nursing focused.
