Diving in Kenya

The East African Coast is one of the top dive destinations worldwide. We have the full range of marine life of the Indian Ocean. The main “Shanzu Reef” is in an area protected by Kenya Wild Life Service. The corals are in a wonderful shape.

What to See

Along the Mombasa North Coast dives we have plenty of colourful soft and hard corals. The Marine Park has a huge variety of marine life such as: White Tip Reef Sharks, Green Turtles, Hawksbill Turtles, Moray Eels, Sting Rays, Groupers, Schools of Snappers, Napoleons, Octopus, Lobsters, Barracudas among many others and a wide range of macro stuff.

Peponi Divers Mombasa are certified PADI resort (32328) and BSAC Resort (550). We are based at Mombasa North Coast at the Bahari Beach Hotel. We also have a branch at Royal Reserve Beach Club (Kikambala). We provide free pick up from other hotels within Mombasa North Coast.

In case of decompression, we have a re-compression chamber standby at the Mombasa harbour (about 45 to 90 minutes from our dive sites) and its operated by the Kenya navy.
