My Summary

ON DIVING: I started diving in 1975 - yes, there was Scuba back then, and NO I wasn't breathing through a reed in the Nile . . . GRIN!

Seven-Tenths - that's the part of the earth covered in water, and it's a world that Scuba opens up to anyone willing to enter it with respect, dive it with confidence, and leave it untouched for the next visitor. It is a joy and a priviledge to share that world with my students.

"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds on in its net of wonder forever."
Jacques Yves Cousteau
FAVORITE SAYING: "I have the body of a God . . . unfortunately, it's BUDDHA!"  FAVORITE DIVE: Any where I haven't gone diving before. . . GRIN!
To Boldly Go Where No (Jolly Old Fat Man) Has Gone Before!
(insert Dramatic Theme Music here).

Under 2 feet of ice in Lake Minnewanka, exploring a wreck in Grenada, swimming with pre-history in the Galapagos, counting fish at the Calgary Zoo hole - it really doesn't matter!  DIVE LOCATIONS: Alberta Lakes, British Columbia Lakes, Canada West Coast (pretty much everywhere Campbell River South to Victoria), US San Juan Islands to Port Hadlock, Us West Coast, Baja, Los Cabos, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Mayan Riviera (Coastal and Cenotes), Belize, Honduras, Bay Islands, Panama, Southern Caribbean, Northern Caribbean, Maldives, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hawaii, Cooke Islands . . . facedown in a bathtub . . . anywhere there's water . . .
