Director, Global Operations
With 10 years of experience fostering high-level stakeholder relationships with NGOs, policy makers, and corporations, Moore is passionate about building odd-bedfellow coalitions to drive change. She has worked to advance market and policy solutions on ocean issues such as marine debris, habitat protection, and overfishing. Her experience in program development, stakeholder engagement and operations management, have led her to an exciting career at Project AWARE. As Director of Global Operations, Danna Moore leads Project AWARE’s global team in the development and implementation of the overall strategy, global operations, brand, and partnerships.
Associate Director, Policy and Campaigns
Growing up in a small fishing village in South Wales, Ian developed a love of the ocean from an early age. This affinity for all things marine led Ian to study Marine Biology at Heriot-Watt University, which kick-started his career in marine conservation. Over a period of 20 years, Ian has worked in a wide variety of roles incorporating private, government and civil society sectors. This career has included working as a fisheries officer in the UK, developing marine conservation policy and several years working as a commercial diver. Immediately prior to joining Project AWARE, Ian led global shark and ray conservation work focussing on reducing impacts of commercial fisheries, habitat protection, and sustainable shark and ray tourism. As Associate Director of Policy and Campaigns, Ian leads Project AWARE’s development and implementation of key strategic conservation projects and initiatives with a view to influencing policy developments at the local, national and global levels.
Associate Director, Global Communications
With the opportunity to teach dive courses from beginner through to scuba instructor training as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Domino Albert discovered Project AWARE in the mid-1990s and developed a passion for the underwater world and ocean conservation. Now Associate Director, Global Communications at Project AWARE, Domino drives the global communication strategy and spreads the word about the threats facing our ocean. Working closely with the Programs and Campaigns teams, she develops new and innovative ways to share complex marine conservation issues with a new and wide audience. Domino has more than 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, fundraising, leading communications and engagement campaigns, and managing organizational strategy and operations.
Lauren Wiskerson, CFRE
Certified Fundraising Executive and Master Scuba Diver, Lauren Wiskerson, puts her Business Administration Diploma, Legal, Finance, Dive Industry background and 14 years of experience managing ocean conservation programs to work for philanthropy as Project AWARE’s Development Manager. Impassioned by connecting with like-minded supporters and dedicated ocean activists around the globe, she develops, executes and drives organizational donor strategy and leads initiatives to drive awareness and financial support to protect the ocean with Project AWARE.
Operations and Program Expansion Manager
Michelle Davidov has lived and studied all over the globe. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management focused in Conservation and Natural Resource Management. Michelle’s education has focused on the unique cross-section of the environment and international relations and she brings experience from both the conservation and environmental sustainability workforce. She is equipped and dedicated to work toward solutions to the many problems our ocean faces today. As Operations and Program Expansion Manager, Michelle leads Project AWARE’s growth and expansion to further our goals and mission.
Community Engagement Manager
After gaining a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Design, Louise Kraechter originally set her sights on a career in the automotive industry. However, a chance encounter with scuba diving set her down a whole new path. After ten years of instructing scuba and managing dive centers around the world, Louise now utilizes her teaching experience and industry expertise as Community Engagement Manager at Project AWARE. In her role, Louise leads outreach and engagement campaigns strategies to mobilize divers to take action for marine conservation.
Policy Specialist - Clean Ocean
Hannah Pragnell-Raasch came to Project AWARE with a Master’s Degree in Biodiversity Conservation and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. She now puts her eight years of experience in marine conservation and research to work as Program Specialist, leading the citizen-science dimension of Project AWARE’s global marine debris program as well as ensuring Project AWARE’s work is based on sound science and research. Passionate about teaching others the importance of conserving our underwater world, Hannah engages the Project AWARE global community to take action for ocean protection and enact long-term positive change for the environment.
Megan has always had a love for the oceans and adventure. From surfing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and snorkeling, there isn’t much she won’t be found doing in the great outdoors. Her passion for the ocean quickly developed into a passion for marine conservation. As Communications Specialist, Megan coordinates the organization’s media and digital outreach, looking after media relations, managing social media and promoting events. Megan supports Project AWARE’s content development and works closely with the Policy and Community Engagement teams to spread the word about the positive change ocean advocates are making.
Digital Campaign Specialist
As Digital Campaign Specialist at Project AWARE, Orsi Fulop draws on seven years of event management and nonprofit development expertise to help finance the organization’s ocean protection efforts. Focusing on outreach and engagement initiatives to increase awareness of the challenges facing our ocean planet, Orsi leads the development and execution of Project AWARE’s online and offline campaigns plans and strategies.
Global Information Technology Specialist
With nearly 10 years of experience in information technology, digital production, web and graphic design development, communications, and digital media marketing at some of the world’s largest media companies, Christine designs, maintains, and activates Project AWARE’s global digital, online, branding, and applications presence, showcasing the organization's success in being agents of positive change for the ocean. Having grown up as an elite athlete, training along the beautiful coast of Southern California, she quickly grew to love and respect the underwater world and developed a lifelong passion for the ocean and marine conservation. Through the power of technological development, Christine inspires a global community to be part of the movement for ocean conservation. As Global Information Technology Specialist, she’s the key player in the development and implementation of Project AWARE’s global technology strategies driving engagement locally and globally.
Global Accounting Specialist
With more than 15 years of experience in accounting and office administration, customer service and problem-solving skills, Erin Kincade serves as Office Administrator for the Project AWARE team. Though her primary function is accounting, Erin also acts as many divers’ first point of contact with Project AWARE. She speaks with divers, instructors, and resorts daily and helps inform Project AWARE supporters about ways to get involved in ocean protection.
Community Conservation Officer
The ocean and its amazing inhabitants have always been a part of Jack Fishman’s life. From learning to snorkel and identifying fish at the age of six, to a continuing diving career of more than 17 years. Jack grew his love for the underwater realm after watching the reefs change over many years. Jack’s work experience as a dive instructor fueled his passion for marine conservation. Working as the Marine Conservation Coordinator at Rainbow Reef Dive Center in Florida, he was able to inspire local communities to work together for a clean ocean, and teach dive programs that helped divers become active citizen scientists. As Project AWARE’s Community Conservation Officer, Jack now works with dive leaders on the ground to help them implement conservation programs, and help spread the mission for conservation in local communities.
Having completed a degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography, Peta went onto work in various countries around the world as a Marine Biologist and PADI Diving Instructor. During this time, she developed a passion for teaching and educating others on local and global conservation issues and enjoyed inspiring others to take action for the ocean. She now draws on these passions and experiences as Project AWARE's Community Coordinator, supporting the application of outreach and engagement campaigns.
Communications and Translations Coordinator
After getting her Master's Degree in Translation, Stefania Di Dio wanted to try a working experience abroad. After working for a year and a half at Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Stefania is now a Communications and Translations coordinator for Project AWARE and utilizes her fluency in English, Spanish and Italian to work with our global community of adventurers. With her global perspective, language skills and passion for the underwater world, Stefania engages in a wide variety of administrative, operations, and communications functions to support Project AWARE’s growing movement for a clean and healthy ocean.
Born in China and raised in Japan, Seira has a unique family background which gave her the ability to understand cross-cultural environments, particularly throughout Asia. Seira holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering Faculty of Science & Technology, Tokyo University of Science. In 2009, she began her career at a Global consulting firm where she was responsible for the management of various global projects. She has extensive project management experience and speaks Chinese, Japanese and English fluently. After moving to Australia in 2016, Seira fell in love with the ocean and is now able to use her new passion, skills, talents and experience to support the day to day needs of the Project AWARE office in Sydney, our growing community of adventurers in the Asia Pacific region and China expansion project.
Kian has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and over 15 years of experience working with non-profit organizations. She began her career working directly with at-risk youth and eventually became the director of several different community programs. It is here, at Project AWARE, that Kian is able to merge her love of nature and the ocean with her non-profit management experience. Using her organizational skills, fundraising experience and creativity she is now working as part of Project AWARE’s Operations Team. Kian works closely with several different staff to support a variety of fundraising operations, grant writing and operational functions.
