Clean Up Day in Rio de Janeiro - Ilhas Cagarras - 18 Divers Against Debris

The Aware Week of Projeto Verde Mar started this Saturday, September 15, with a dive trip to the Cagarras Islands Natural Monument, the first Marine Conservation Area in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Eighteen divers participated in the action at Ilha Comprida and collected about 10 kg of solid waste from the seabed. The activities follow this Sunday, the 16th, with the already traditional Clean Up - Dive Against Debris at Praia Vermelha.
